The mentor’s purpose is to come alongside the participant and support them through tough situations they are currently facing in their lives. Mentors will complete weekly devotions with participants encouraging them to build a relationship with Christ, support participants in applying learned skills from vendor programs to daily life, and promote involvement in community opportunities such as youth groups, church activities, clubs, and organizations.
