MISSION

Hope 29:11 serves kids in McDowell County, ages 8-18, that do not live with their natural parents, are high risk or referred to our program through a local agency or school.  We strive to provide a safe environment for kids and teens to learn responsibility and gain self confidence by caring for animals and exploring the natural world.  Our vision is to share with each kid they are deeply loved, uniquely created for purpose, and there is hope through knowing Jesus.

The 3 Relationships:

Relationship with God

Relationship with Creation

Relationship with Others

  • We aim to encourage our youth to develop a love and respect for God, our Creator.

  • "God is our creator and we are made in his image." (Genesis. 1:27)

  • We will utilize many activities to help teach the principle of personal responsibility to encourage youth to make positive life changes that are honorable to God.

  • "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

  • We aim to encourage our youth to care and love Creation by tending animals and learning to enjoy the outdoors.

  • "The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and to take care of it." (Genesis 2:15)

  • "It is good to find satisfaction in your work, God did." (Genesis 1:31)

  • We aim to encourage our youth to love and care for others by developing positive relationships.

  • "We should love one another as Christ loved us." (John 13:34-35)
